Cafe Mokka

The challenge

The client had recently taken over an established but floundering ‘greasy spoon’ cafe in a busy commuter area of Leeds. Looking to reinvent the business to take advantage of the nearby train station, he set out to change the business into a coffee shop/cafe with both sit in and take away offerings.

The solution

The client decided on the name and the Mediterranean style of their food offering and we set to developing a flexible identity that clearly denoted change from the previous cafe and a bold look for the new. Sourcing images of the cafe from the early 20th century and those from the clients home country we reinforced the brand throughout the decor and marketing materials, from signage to menus, coffee cups to roller blinds.
